All my old characters used to be

But since then, Schae The Abbot is the only one that has survived.

In chapter two my names are somewhat related, at least in my mind.

I despise complicated names, especially people who try to write their names in Romaji or try to name their characters after famous japan/chinese/thai/ect. people. It becomes a total pain when you're trying to invite them to join your party and you find yourself having to look back at their name every other letter.

I usually use Wirlver as last name for my characters, or i find out what my name is in latin. Im prob the only person in my guild that uses latin for 2 of my characters names.

I didn't use a "convention" for my second character, but in retrospect I wish I had. The thing is, I didn't plan for them to have the same names, but when I needed to figure out a last name for my third character, I just used "Atreides" again.

So I ended up with
Aruine Atreides, E
Dr Orim, Mo
Alleji Atreides, N
Aksaiu Atreides, Me

PVE mesmers always have French names.
PVP mesmers always have puns for names (Premarital Hex, Hex On The Beach, Standing Hex, etc.).
Elementalists are usually named after elements on the periodic table, scientific names for chemical compounds, or famous scientists.

Professiional titles come to mind, as well: Ph.D., Dr., M.D., etc.

I saw Mrs. in RoF a while ago. Kinda freaked me out 0_o. Most of my character's names have Jayge in them, except for throw-a-way pvp characters that I may occaisionally make.

I only have one character at the moment O_O - Formina Sage.

Although when making new PvE characters (I've deleted a few...), I always put "Sage" as my surname. Reminds me of ToS, the RPG on Gamecube. ^_^
